Medical Diagnostic Technologies Queensland

Our Partners

Through the internationally recognised Biomedical Engineering (BME) group at The University of Queensland, MedTeQ facilitates health technology research projects conducted in collaboration with a team of Queensland’s world-class clinicians, CSIRO’s National Medical Image Processing Group and the medical materials group at The University of Washington, USA (UWASH).

Through our clinical partners, we are able to inform our research into the development and trial of prototype devices. For example the cardio-thoracic team at The Prince Charles Hospital (TCPH) provides valuable input in device design, as a result of extensive medical experience and through their access to the largest thoracic patient cohort in Queensland. The Mater Hospital Pathology and Paediatric Sleep Sensor units are also pivotal to our program, by informing development and facilitating testing of robust screening tools.
